How Can We Make Transport Work for Women and Families in Scotland?

May 11, 2024, 11.00 – 15.00

Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, Glasgow

Transport impacts the everyday life of women across the country, with each area of Scotland facing different challenges. In an effort to understand how women would like the transport system in Scotland to change, we are hosting a conference, asking attendees: How Can We Make Transport Work for Women and Families in Scotland?’.

During the event, you will hear from a range of speakers who will provide their expertise on transport and its impact on women. This will be followed by a Q&A, where you will have the opportunity to ask any relevant questions. Following a free buffet lunch, attendees will also be asked to take part in roundtables, where we will ask questions surrounding personal experiences of transport in Scotland, and what you would like to see change.

We hope to create a welcoming and safe space for all attendees and are aware that topics covered during the day may cause distress. Therefore, there will be listeners available throughout our event to provide support.

Speakers to be announced soon!

In conjunction with the conference, we are running an online survey which you can access here, and please feel free to share it with other women in your family, workplace, and communities.
